Easy ride on Amtrak and then a nice walk along fifth Avenue to Reach Neil‘s place. Neil nicely offered us his condominium apartment to stay for four nights two bedrooms two baths all amenities and the most amazing wonderful powerful powerful wonderful amazing shower. I almost don’t want to leave.

One of my favorites at the hairy cheese

Possibly an odd fungal growth from an alien civilization that landed on the beeswax cheese and decided to colonize it. At least that’s my theory.

Classic shot from the steps of the met as well as the hotdog vendors

Park entrance. After the met, we decided to walk to Lincoln Center but have dinner first of course. Wonderful walk to the park so navigation done by Sharon took a fair amount of effort as the roads are windy and we’re going diagonally across. QB got us there, but she says not without difficulty

Branzino
Our host at the Atlantic

We booked dinner at the Atlantic Grill based primarily on its location. Overall, quite pleased.

Four ballets by Peck and a bit of my vest

Started with a film about the choreographer Peck and his many years with the NY ballet company and his various compositions, the film was outstanding.

Pieces as a ballet was quite angular extremely energetic, and nice to watch. I truly enjoyed it. The next one called solo was rather ordinary to my taste and without really exciting music.

Have to seeing three of the four ballets. It’s quite obvious that his style is unique. And not surprisingly the same basic forms keep reappearing.

Final curtain call
Lincoln center of course

Final walk back, partially. Ended the day with plus 13 miles.

The great Indian Elephant Migration

The great Indian elephant migration. This exhibit of 100 is on a tour of the United States: Newport, meat packing district New York City (Meapa), Miami, Blackfeet Nation in Montana, finishing in Los Angeles.

At the end of the tour in Los Angeles, they will be available for sale. You will need a very large property and a lot of money.

Today Newport) they are in two main locations so the blog is separated first as Salve Regina University and then Rough Point mansion. Above is Salve herd.
