Another lovely dinner and lovely evening. All the dishes were perfectly prepared; variety: kimchee pork ribs, salmon, turkey, perfect veggies. A cheerful meal with friends. Does not get much better.

Mary cassatt exhibit. Not to my liking. Excellent art, of course, but too much mother and child, repetitive. Outstanding drypoint explained onthe was board

Above were some non- mother and children.

Art in the theater exhibition. Excellent. Books and drawings for fans.

Stir fry of carcass. Cabbage soup in background made from second carcass

Just pics.
Not quite dark enough outside

Bucks for dinner

Lovely affair..Hamish shul and service great family affair.
Reception at Viking hotel. Very well organized by Sara and Marcia.

The plan today was to meet up with Billy and Naomi at Bluff Point in Groton, a park they have walked in a number of times in earlier days.
Note: photos are out of chronological order.

Another warm day
Breakfast at Baltazar
Last night’s ballet was a bigger success for me as I happen to like some of the Russian classical, less so for Sharon . She preferred Thursday night.
Last night ballet also had two events going on so fancy dress black tie fancy dresses lots of Wealth.

Café Luxembourg had good food, but kitchen fell too far behind and we had to leave before we could really finish dinner properly.

Dinner: red farm, uptown on Broadway this time. First time here usually we go to the one on Hudson.

Tonight: Coppelia

Outstanding. Both dance and orchestra.
Second day of New York blog. Yesterday’s plan of updating it throughout the day even as late as almost midnight worked out well so I will probably continue the method.

Another early morning, breakfast at the News Cafe on university place. Fortunately Sarah could join us.

Walking through Union Square lots and lots of booths with K Harris paraphernalia

Wandering through soho. Stopped at the CVS to pick up some Band-Aids for blister and they were far far tonight;again is New York coming to?
The CVS is in a decrepit building that used to be the village gate. It looks like it should be torn down apparently it’s protected historically which is why it has a weird architecture, terrible façade and no redeeming features at all.

Wandering through Soho fighting our way through large clouds and unfortunately mostly chain stores. Virtually all stores in Soho seem to be chained now except on one street or so.

Long history of Famous shills doing this, many quite quite good
Dinner, Cafe Luxembourg
On our way, walking up to the dinner we stopped at Eataly.

Dinner badly rushed because the kitchen was late and we had to leave by 7 o’clock to make the ballet. Left Neil still eating only partially through his steak.

Ratmansky tonight

Spoke to one who brought 60 of his friends to this ball as a birthday party then off to the birthday, Valentine ball dinner
