Now comes Pictures at an Exhibition. Was incredible.

Walking tour to see the collection at the school.
1200+ trees, 200 of them beeches.





Then visited Ralph and Tom’s old digs and the arboretum they planted at their previous condo

Oakland and other places have fine wall art. Here, rural, with lovely trees, marsh, streams and of course the bay.

The plan was to see the Irving Penn ( de Young) exhibit and a Japanese print exhibit at the legion of honor
The first part of the plan worked perfectly the second part of total failure as the Japanese prints do not open them until April 6














No credit card taken, no paddles for auctioning or giving money.
Not a young crowd, so we fit right in.
Event is at the four seasons Hotel. Donor event.
Mostly, except for my question, employees saying how much they love the new mission of sutter and the new ceo.







Lazy Sunday morning followed by a fine brunch chez M&G and walk in the nearby Biltmore area.






This is urban Phoenix. Just a few minutes from the tower.
